Jesus Is the Answer
Why me? How will I get through this? What am I doing wrong?
In a world full of so many questions, it seems impossible to have all the answers. But that’s exactly who Jesus is: the answer.
Jesus came to this earth to rescue us from a world full of sin, obstacles and pain. As holy and all-knowing, He can see the future when we can’t. Whatever we’re facing, whatever the issue is, He already knows and can guide us through it.
That doesn’t mean we won’t have troubles in this world or wonder why something is happening. But it does mean we have Someone to turn to in the midst of it. Another name for Jesus is Emmanuel, which means “God with us,” and He is with us always—even during the hard times. His presence in our lives can make a huge difference in how we see the problems before us and how we handle them, being confident of His love for us no matter what.
It’s because of that unconditional love that Christ even gave up His life for us—then defeated death by rising again—so that we can live life to the fullest and someday spend eternity with Him away from all the problems of this world.
As questions race through your head today, keep your focus on Jesus Christ, who is God in human flesh. As the Bible puts it, “In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths” (Proverbs 3:6).
These promises are meant for you today. Read the following truths to see how you can have a relationship with Jesus, who wants to be with you every step of the way.
Step 1 – God loves you and has a plan for you!
Step 2 – People are sinful and separated from God.
Step 3 – God sent His Son to die for your sins!
Step 4 – Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness?
"Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen."
